Having Children
If your character has a child with someone, it will be many years before they reach adulthood and manifest the traits you will decide below. Your ST may decide to generate you child more randomly, but the system below gives your child traits he or she acquires from the parents.
First decide if it will be a single child, twins, or triplets. Roll a d100. A roll of 1-96 indicates a single child. 97-99 indicates twins. 00 indicates triplets.
If you had twins or triplets, roll to see if they are identical. Roll d100. 1-70 indicates non-identical. 71-00 indicates identical.
Now decide the sex. Roll d6. 1-3 equals a girl, 4-6 equals a boy.
For ability scores, take the average of the parents' score and roll a d6. If three or four is rolled, keep the average score. If five or six is rolled, add one or two, respectively. If one or two is rolled, subtract one (if your roll is two) or two (if your roll is one.) An example -
Mother's perception is 24. Father's is 22. The average is 23. Roll a d6. A roll of one gets a score of 21, a roll of two gets a score of 22, a roll of three or four gets a score of 23, a roll of five gets a score of 24, and a roll of six gets a score of 25.
If either of the parents have a Born Talent, the child has a 40% chance of inheriting it. If both parents have the same one, the child has a 90% chance.
The ST should then decide the child's hair color, eyes, and flesh tone based on the parents'.
