Starting Gold

As a new character, you’re going to start with a certain amount of gold. This may be very little, which will give you limited spending power to start with (but lots of adventure trying to get gold) or you might start with a fair amount. You can learn something about yourself by the amount you start with. If you start with a lot, perhaps you’ve come from a noble family or you’re a merchant’s son or daughter. Or mayhaps you’ve saved up for some time, hoping to buy something big, like a trell or a horse.
If you start with a smaller amount, it might give you a different idea of your origins.
