An ancient Eldritch sabre, recovered from the ruins at Telvin Moor.
Perhaps it’s an unfortunate thing that we, as humans, fight. But it seems as integral to the human condition as breathing – we vie for territory, for rights to resources, for rulership, for freedom – we even fight for our ideals and beliefs.
Out of this natural tendency for strife has emerged the technology that created our weapons – from siege engine to dagger, they all have a similar purpose, and also a similar evolution. For most of our weapons have grown from crude, unrefined works to the beautiful, artistic work seen today.
In these modern times weapons have become things of beauty, and are crafted with utmost skill and precision – not only for aesthetic purposes, but because such craftsmanship creates a superior weapon when it comes to actual combat.
In this tome you’ll find descriptions of some modern weapons, histories of famous wars, and a little about some of the larger machines and transports used to wage battle.
