Misti Wudtke (that’s me) is a temporary resident of the planet known locally as Earth.  Being generally unsatisfied with the prospect of having to live life in just one albeit interesting Reality, she decided to make up her own, and now spends most of her time in any number of Otherwheres of her own twisted devising.  She returns to Reality only for the purpose of collecting unicorn beanies, listening to Scandinavian folk rock and mercilessly inhaling half-gallons of double fudge brownie ice cream, which she has had trouble finding anywhere else.

 

In Reality Misti Wudtke is a short, blond, hobbit-like person, physically 23 years of age and mentally 5.  She is attending the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and is one long semester away from receiving her B.S. in physical geography, because they don’t give out degrees for being a faerie princess.  She has two cats, a short attention span and an unhealthy addiction to macaroni and cheese.

 

Misti likes to draw.  She likes to read and write, and watch the History channel, and carry on conversations with water fountains and other normal things like that, but mostly she likes to draw.  She draws unicorns and other fantasy things, and occasionally things from reality too like indigo buntings and muskrats.  One day Misti put up her very own gallery on the wonderful website Elfwood and soon after was contacted by Kenton and Rebecca Whitman, the ingenious couple responsible for the creation of their own world Carador.  Misti was intrigued by the spellbinding, sophisticated and multifaceted world of Carador (just the fact that it was something new and different that Misti had not made up herself was pretty neat) and she enthusiastically agreed to create a number of pictures for the Carador website, illustrating various Caradorian creatures and perhaps some other things that haven’t come up yet.

 

When and if Misti ever grows up, she would like (in lieu of being a faerie princess) to be an artist, author, professor of anthropology or geography, or a beekeeper.  Of course being generally rich and famous would be nice too.  Misti plans to have her very own website, complete with cool domain name (Mistique.com) up and running by the end of the year, on which she hopes to sell some prints of her so-called art.  Until then, she hopes that you enjoy her pictures and the wonderful world of Carador!
